✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • As a physical therapist assistant, it is not within my scope to say I can help constipation. Does it help with bowel motility? Yes! And that means material is moving through your bowels.

  • This series does have frequent education that I give patients, but it is only health and wellness education. You and I do not have a patient-therapist relationship just because you bought the course.

  • I am always down to hear stories from people! I seriously love it, but I can never, without question, provide advice for you and your specific body, ESPECIALLY as a PTA. I will always do what I can to connect you with a therapist that can though!

  • I barely touch on this because that is out of my scope of practice, but I do make a few notes to guide you on the right path to thinking about your food and how it affects the bowels.

  • I also barely touch on the fiber portion, and I actually made a mistake while filming this video on psyllium husk being insoluble fiber, which I will have to re-film and edit eventually. Always speak with a nutritionist about this if you really have any questions.

  • PTA stands for Physical Therapist Assistant. This does not mean I am an aide! I am board-certified in the state of California to treat patients under a supervising PT, and I am also allowed to provide health and wellness education. If you ever have major concerns though, always speak with your PT or healthcare provider to ensure that the information you are applying to your body is correct for you!
